What sold me on this router was its solid preview reviews, its stability, it's signal coverage, up-to-date firmware updates from ASUS and the parental control features. This is the second router I have purchased from Asus and both are stellar performers. I also use Asus motherboards on all of my computer builds.

This router replaced an aging ( and faltering ) ASUS N66U router ; it performs quite well. Internet Connection speeds are at ~ 195 MBps for a 200 Mbps connection across 5 different devices. Its WAN speed is quite good; we are able to stream 4K video on the TV from the Desktop where content is stored.
